Semi-coherent ramblings of an internet junkie about business, life & gaming.

Signed up with payperpost

Like I said in a previous post, I signed up for PayPerPost, a service that lets you get in ‘touch’ with advertisers. I really don’t know what to expect from it, because getting paid to review services on a blog sounds dubious. AT least that is how I see it personally when I read something likewise on another blog.

But lets not write off the service before at least giving it a decent spin okay?

Signing up went pretty easy, and the help function works like a charm. I’ve had to send in a few tickets to their helpdesk to get something to work propper, and I always had a reply pretty fast.
Most of the blogs I visit regularly don’t use these kind of services, so I can’t say I have acquaintances that use PPP.

I’m also very curious if this will add any value to my site/blog, and if this could turn into a decent revenue for me. But I’m sure willing to try. At the moment there are not a lot of opportunities in their marketplace that I’m qualified for, not sure why that is.

Anyway, this is a fun change in advertising, working with blog ads.
Let me know if you are working with PPP and what your experience with them is like.

On occasion I try and do some special stuff. For instance I do usability tests on websites. Or you can take a look at some of the famous interviews I've done.

  • Stefson in a nutshell (long)

Stefson.com has grown out of my previous site www.mmopiglet.com (which no longer exists), that was mainly about my time in mmo games. Ever since I stopped playing mmo’s, due to personal reasons (read: time), I missed blogging so much, that the decision to start over from scratch on a new domain was easily made. So here we are.

I blog mostly about web2.0, technology, book reviews, Wordpress themes and plugins, tools for web savvys, usability, websites, gaming.
