Ebay’s feedback system for sellers is kinda crap?
Lately, I’ve been selling a lot of stuff through Ebay.
And unfortunately, been confronted a couple of times with people that don’t pay, don’t pay on time and don’t respond to mail or messages.
When you finally do get a response, or you’re able to finish the auction and receive the payment (that is, after 14 days and three summons), you as a seller are not able to leave negative feedback. Sure you can type in nasty words in the comment box, but you can not do anything more.
What you can do is open up a claim, and wait 8 days. Meanwhile the buyer can claim payment has been made etc, so you wait some more. You just wait and wait and wait …
Do you sell stuff on Ebay? Are you happy with the current system for sellers?

Ebay used to be cool, back in ‘97-’98. Now it’s nothing but a giant flea market. Unless they do it comment style, all feedback features suck. I’ve had the same experience as a buyer from Amazon where the seller sent me the item without the actual item in the box. When I gave him a bad rating and explained in the comment section what happened, he basically turned around and made me look like I’m the dishonest one. And there’s not a damn thing I could do about it. He got the last word. I got nothing. Unfortunately, the transaction was so low that a charge-back would cost me more.
