And interesting post on Mark Jacobs blog about the open EU beta of Warhammer Online. He talks about the screwups and GOA (EU publisher) and the riots it brought upon them.
A little quote:
“Unfortunately, Europe had more than its share of problems. So, I spent about 10 hours today dealing with the situation and reading some of the type of stuff that gives humanity a black eye. It’s just a shame that we had to wade through hours and hours of anger, frustration and bile to get where we are now.”
And then a reply to the community of a Warhammer CM:
“A lot of what was said yesterday here and on other forums was entirely out of line. Of course you were disappointed and criticism is certainly warranted but frankly many of the posts made about the situation were borderline sociopathic. If having delayed access to a beta test really drives you to such depths of anger and fury then - and there is no polite way to put this - there is something wrong with you.”
Personally, I can agree with their response. Some people really need to get it together.
