I just spent the last 45 minutes trying to cancel my Star Wars Galaxies sub. Don’t get me wrong, I actually liked some of the changes to the game after coming back from such a long time, but I was getting a but tired of the dull quests and space xp grinding to get to ACE pilot.
So anyway, I thought I’d cancel and get back to it in a couple of months or so.
Well, I gues SOE disagreed with me. Finally, after 45 freaking minutes of clicking, page refreshing, I managed to get into my SOE account page. Below are two screenshots of my epic quest to cancel a sub.
I’d like to think it was because of all the people (millions …) accessing the SOE account page at the same moment, but something tells my otherwise. Then again, this is one way of making sure you don’t loose customers (subs). Just prevent someone from cancelling by disabling access to the account page.
