Exit BlogNation, noone told me?

I’m so behind on things.
A blog I checked up on a lot was http://web.2point0.be, a Belgian blog about web2.0. Because the owner and author of it was invited to write for BlogNation (the Belgian side of it) I lost track of it. Why wouldn’t I? He stopped updating it and I felt little interest in BlogNation. But, for some strange reason I can’t remember, BN Belgium was in my RSS reader.

Now for those of you that don’t know, BlogNation is (was) founded by Seth Sethi, who in return used to be chief editor or something for the famous TechCrunch UK blog. He and M. Arrington parted on not so good terms, but that’s another story.

Also, important to noete is, I have so many feeds in my reader I just can’t keep up with reading everything. That’s what I mean when I say I’m so behind on things.

So there is was, an update on BlogNation Belgium.

BlogNation terminated? Riots? Massacres? Noone told me dammit.
So okay, let’s trackback a little.

- A post on Techcrunch saying BlogNation editors not paid for doing their work.
- Rumors turn out to be true, as stated by Oliver Starr (former non-paid editor).
- News about the riots is covered by Valleywag.
- BlogNation’s Seth Sethi blames Arrington and TechCrunch for some of the failures (funding) (now it’s getting real exciting!). Also covered by Valleywag.

Unfortunately, nothing really interesting happens after this. To bad.
It could have made an interesting web2-soap. Damn I have to keep up on my feeds…
