I’m feeling the dip

seth godinMy girlfriend bought me this new book from Seth Godin. It’s titled “The Dip”.
Lately, I’ve been so busy with my new project (website) that I’m more and more starting to wonder, is it ever going to pay off? So she came across this title and thought it would be perfect for me.
I have to say, it reades like a charm. It’s a very small book, but it contains a lot of wisdom. Wisdom like only Seth Godin can tell you.
Do you remember starting something new that interested you? Chances are the world seemed a little brighter, a little more inviting, it is new and exciting and you feel you can take on the world.

Now, remember how that same activity seemed after six months had passed. It’s likely you weren’t having as much fun; progress was hard to accomplish; and frustration was starting to build. That’s what a dip feels like.

It’s all commonsense, but like all things like this, sometimes you just need a stranger to shed a little light on thigs, and say it how it is.

On a more personal note, some pictures taken with my mobile phone.

Then real life bowling. Actually it was disco-bowling, see the pretty lights?

And last, my girl and I came across this store that was selling everything with a 70% discount. People inside were basically killing eachother and looting the entire store. I mean look at it, that was how the entire store looked like!
