Interviewing Jai Verma from blogohblog dot com
Hello fellow bloggers.
Today I present to you another interview. It’s the second in what I hope to be lots more. Take a look at the series for more good stuff.
I had the opportunity to ask some questions to Jai Verma, the new owner of the popular blog www.blogohblog.com. He recently pushased this for quite a lot of money, so naturally that made me curious.

So without further ramblings, lets start.
Stefson: Can you give a short introduction of yourself?
Jai : I am Jai Nischal Verma, 28, a web developer from New Delhi, India. I have been doing development work since 2002 and creativity is what drives me.
Stefson: How much time a week do you spend blogging?
Jai: I can say that I spend 2-3 hours blogging every day so you can make an estimate for the week. Rest of time, I do other development work.
Stefson: What does an average day of Jai look like?
Jai: Jai wakes up, sits in the front of the computer, eats, keeps sitting in front of the computer, and by the night time, Jai wonders if he had enough!
Stefson: What is your main source of income?
Jai: I work full time on the Internet, so you can say the Internet is my main source of income.
Stefson: You purchased the blog www.blogohblog.com for 10.000 $. Why exactly?
Jai: I was looking for an established platform where I could showcase my skills and couldn’t find any better website than Blogohblog.com. The blog also has great rankings which will help me boost the business.
Stefson: The deal on Sitepoint regarding the sale of www.blogohblog.com went pretty fast. Why was that?
Jai: Well, I didn’t want anyone else to own this super blog so I acquired it. By the way, if you look closely at the auction thread, Bob also got a bid of $19,500 but the bidder wanted to turn Blogohblog.com into a dating website. So Bob rejected it and accepted my offer :)
Stefson: Can you shed some light on what’s to come in the next few months regarding your new blog?
Jai: You will see a variety of new creative Wordpress Themes (never seen before), Blogging design guidelines, tips on making money online, a launch of the official forums, website review service and lots more!
Stefson: Can you please name 3 of your favorite blogs?
Jai: www.styleikon.com, www.blogohblog.com, DP forums (you can call it a people’s blog though its a webmaster’s forum)
Stefson: Do you have any ‘I can’t live without em’ web2-ish applications?
Jai: None. I can create them if i want :)
Stefson: If you could eliminate 2 things from the internet, what would they be and why?
Jai: Scammers and Spammers :)
Stefson: If someone were to ask you ‘What makes a person a good blogger?’, what would you answer :)?
Jai: If you are targetted, persistent and dedicated, you can be a good blogger.
Stefson: What would you like to achieve? (your dreams example: to become CEO of microsoft)
Jai: I want to achieve happiness. That’s the goal of life, trust me :)
Last and fun question:
Stefson: If you were a pro wrestler, what would your wrestlingname be?
Jai: Thats a hard one…umm..it would be the KING
