I love browsing the net for blogs.
Just going from site to site clicking outbound links. And sometimes, on occasion, you come across beautifull designs.
The following sites I list here are designs I wish were Wordpress templates.
Take for instance this blog about sports. Awesome design. Very minimalistic and relaxing feeling you get. Beautifull logo as well.

And here’s the second one, the Geniant Blog. This is not a design I would personally use, but I love it. The colours used are a bit uncommon, which is a cool thing, great for establishing your own identity.

If you like orange, then Dan Rubin’s site is definately your cup of tea. Very modern look. I like it, but wouldn’t use this for a site of my own.

Are you an arty person? Then head over to Rick Catlow’s blog/site. Damn great look. White-Blue-Grey colours, very traditional but brought very tight. So easy to use and navigate. Not even mentioning the art, talk about wicked stuff…

If you’re looking for more great designs, do take a look at Smashing Magazine.
And I came across this tool called Thumbalizr today, that makes thumbnails (screenshots) of websites through your browser. So you don’t need to fire up Photoshop (or Paint) to create a little thumb. I’ve bookmarked it myself, because it’s very convenient. Only downside is itĀ loads pretty slow at times.

Those are some nice blog layouts. Your design isn’t too bad either.
I’ll check out that thumbalizr tool to see how well it works. I could use something like that for my blog which is mainly about finding the world’s most creative websites.

Thanks Austin.
Have you tried the tumbalizr tool yet? Pretty cool isn’t it?
