First post after the change
One I tought over for some time now.
I’ve decided to stop playing World of Warcraft.
Reason? Very simple actually. It was no longer just a game for me, it was once again, becoming an obsession. Day in day out, all would evolve around playing the game. My life suffered from it, my job, my mental well-being.
Blizzard made one hell of a game, crack on a disc like I once read. That’s what it is, at least, for me.
Sure, I have an other history, one that I will not elaborate any further here, but I have come to the conclusion that Warcraft is doing me more harm than good. I know, how can a mere game do this to a person? Well, obviously it can.
This decision was very hard to make, but nevertheless, I made it.
All the energy, all the time I put into this game … time to spend it to something more usefull, something more constructive. I know in the days to come, I will regret this decision with all my heart. But I guess I’ll live through it.
I’m going to keep this blog running, only no more World of Warcraft to fill it.
